"The Eye Patch Kids" DVD helps children who are dealing with amblyopia, strabismus and cataracts.
Is eye patching your child turning into a daily
battle? Then join Princess, Patty, and Peter, "The Eye Patch
Kids", as they take you through the story of Princess's visit
to the eye doctor to discover she has amblyopia (lazy eye). Princess'
unwillingness to wear an eye patch and how Patty and Peter (who
already wear eye patches) show her how fun it is and all the
great things she can do with her eye patch on. They laugh and
sing their way through the video along with the Bjort's (these
furry head little eye patched creatures). There is also a "Patch
Pledge Promise" that Princess recites along with the Bjort's
to your child as she tells them that they need their eye patch
on in order to be part of their special "Eye Patch Group".

Testimony #1
Our three year old son Alex was so hesitant to put his
eye patch on and we were always struggling with him. Then
when we finally got it on him, as soon as we walked out
of the room to do something, off came the eye patch. Now,
with the "Eye Patch Kids" as his new friends,
we can put on the DVD and he will do the "Eye Patch Promise"
with Princess and The Bjorts. So he makes that promise
with them and it makes our lives at home much easier during
patch time. Thank you so much for helping out our family
as well as helping our son.

My daughter Brittany had
cataract surgery at 4 years old. She felt so self-conscious
about having to wear the eye patch while her eye was healing.
Then I heard about the "Eye Patch Kids" DVD and I immediately
ordered it. It really helped her out so much. She realized
by watching it that she is not the only one out there with
an eye patch on. Even though she didn’t have amblyopia,
she could still relate to the video. Now the puppets in the
DVD are her new best friends. She especially loves the
Bjorts. She laughs every time they come on and she loves
to sing the songs with them. She knows all of them by heart.

Testimony #3
My five year old daughter Alessa had to
be patched for 5 hours a day. She had to wear it to school.
She was not happy about that at all. Then when I heard about
the DVD and bought it for her, she gave me no problems about
patching anymore. She wanted to bring it to school to show
her friends so I talked to the teacher and we had the class
watch the video so they knew why she had to wear the eye patch.
The class really liked the DVD. They even set aside a day where
they would all wear eye patches for one hour to see what she
goes through while she is wearing it. She felt so good to know
that her class cared enough about her to actually wear an eye
patch. Thanks for the DVD, it has helped Alessa out tremendously.
